U.S. Consumers Give Retailers Poor Grades

American consumers are tough to please, according to a monthly Pulse survey report by WSL Strategic Retail, New York. Retailers consistently receive a grade “D,” or 66%, for pleasing shoppers. The results are better than insurance companies but worse than banks and churches. Shoppers cited dirty, cluttered stores and rudeness as negative influences.
